AerCap Awards Scholarship to Aeronautical Engineering Student at University of Limerick

DUBLIN – February 11, 2025 - AerCap Holdings N.V. (“AerCap” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AER), and the University of Limerick (“UL”), today announced that Sadhbh Jordan, a first-year student in the Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering programme at UL, has been awarded this year’s AerCap Women in Aviation Scholarship.

A native of County Clare, Limerick, Sadhbh was selected through a thorough application process that evaluated students’ passion for aviation and their academic achievements. Now in its sixth year, the scholarship provides students with a bursary of €5,000 per year throughout the 4-year programme, along with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the aviation leasing industry through an eight-month internship.

“We are very pleased to continue to support the Women in Aviation Scholarship programme,” said Denise Mangan-Fahy, Head of Engine Portfolio & Rental Operations at AerCap. “Through this initiative, we aim to encourage more women to pursue engineering programmes, fostering a pipeline of diverse, highly skilled talent to support the future growth and development of the aviation industry.
